Ok, I’m always looking for new flavor combos that I like and keep things interesting for me. Anyone can roast, saute, blanch, or steam an assortment of veggies and get bored with them. Use different seasonings and sauces to keep them interesting.
Lemon Tahini Sauce (I like it on Roasted Cauliflower, but I have had dates dip their roasted potato “fries” in it too!)
2 Tbs Tahini
2 Tbs of EVOO
2 tsp of minced garlic
1 Tbs of Lemon
1 Tbs chopped flatleaf parsley
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
Salt to taste
1. Heat EVOO in small sauce pan, add garlic and saute quickly over medium heat.
2. Stir in tahini, lemon, 5 Tbs of water and salt. Simmer for a minute and remove from heat.
3. Whisk in parsley and sprinkle top with sesame seeds.
you can make this sauce in a large quantity and hold in a mason jar. Just shake before serving.
