Serves 6 (unless you invite Carly Asse to dinner…then only 3)
2 tablespoons seasame oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon freshly grated gingerroot
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (to taste)
3 cups sliced fresh broccoli florets
1 -1 1/2 lb baby bok choy, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
-Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
-Add onion, ginger, garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes; stir-fry for 2 minutes.
-Add in broccoli and bok choy; stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
-Add lemon juice and sugar; stir-fry 3 minutes or until crisp-tender.
